Youth Network Opportunities

SHAC Intergenerational Somali Computer Project
—Thursdays, 4 to 6 p.m. Somali women and their middle and high school age children are learning basic computer skills and improving English speaking skills. English-speaking volunteers needed!

Faribault Youth Partner Network Meeting--
Thursday, May 28th, 11:30 to 1:00. The program topic will be a review of community feedback from the Youth Summit and discussion about collaboration for new youth programming. Please RSVP to Carolyn Treadway, ctreadway@shac4youth.org.  Lunch is provided.  Hope lots of orgs will be represented!

M-TAG (More Than A Game) is providing free beginning soccer lessons for Kindergarten through Grade 3 students, June 8-12, 8:30 to 11:30. Please contact Victor Shaw (507) 720-9074 for additional information.

SHAC is a Faribault community resource that brings parents the information they need about community funded programs for kids. It is also a resource for kids to find the community programs they are looking for to find “what to do” in the Faribault area. We also connect the community resources here in one place to create a network of programs that are all connected and working together.
